Graham and his wife Ruth divide their time between Blundellsands near Liverpool and a cottage on the shores of Gruinard Bay, Wester Ross. He has successfully exhibited in the North at Gairloch, Ullapool and Inverness, as well as Merseyside. The majesty of the Highlands provides a constant urge to lay brush to paper, but Graham also captures the history of the area with sepia paintings from old black and white photographs. The ideas for some of these were inspired by two photographic collections, details of which are:
- A Victorian Tourist in Glenelg - publisher Glenelg Candles
- Old ways through Wester Ross - Stentala publishers
Both books supply interesting historical facts about the area.
You can view his works on this page, and if you like what you see, can order prints via the contacts page. Also on this site, feel free to view a more in-depth profile of Graham, read a brief history of the Highlands, and explore some of the external links that relate to painting & photography, Scotland, and the highlands respectively.
